Enabling ASP.NET 4.0 issue IN IIS 8 WINDOWS 8 for Umbraco 5.1 install

On Windows 8, if you install Umbraco 5.1 and any other software you need ASP.NET 4.0 .
After all the prerequisites installed if you try running aspnet_regiis -ir , you will get below information.

But in Win8 - IIS 8 - default framewrok is .net framework 4.5 (also supports 3.5) .And you won't find 'ASP.NET 4.0' in the Application pool list.

From the 'add application pool' - you have to choose .net 4.5 from the drop down . This will take care of Umbraco 5.1 install running from your IIS 8.

If you have permission issues , add 'Modify' permission to IIS_IUSER . You can do this from IIS rightside menus or from the File explorer -> Right click on the file >select -property > select Security Tab > .
